July 31st, Some shots from this last weekend.

We had a Civil War Encampment on the Brookfield Common this last week end plus a band concert.  Here are a couple shots from the event. Mostly people.

I thought I would start a new post of images of people along the streets of Peru and Bolivia. All or most will be in sepia.

Our 1st stop was Machu Picchu, which was completely fogged in.

The next images are from a Cuyuni group we visited first at about 14000+ feet.  It was a little bit frosty.  We did move down the mountain a little for most of the shots.

Kiln Firing At OSV

This is Walter Buchingham who was playing music at the Kiln Firing.

Saturday Beth and I went to the kiln firing at OSV.  This potter gave a talk about the kiln.

There were at least six workers firing the kiln.  Here a few of them.

This is a good shot of a worker loading fire wood into the kiln.  There was an opening for firing on both side of the kiln.

Hot ash had to be removed constantly.
