I shoot a lot out of a moving car or bus when I travel.

Photos From Peru and Bolivia

Posted in Daily Image Work on July 14, 2011 by onsouthpond

I will be adding photos of Beth and my trip to Peru and Boliva as I work on them.

Our 1st stop was Machu Picchu, which was completely fogged in.

Our group of Travelers.

The following is the 1st of  many landscapes.

Children playing at 14000 feet.

The next images are from a Cuyuni group we visited first at about 14000+ feet.  It was a little bit frosty.  We did move down the mountain a little for most of the shots.

This shot was taken out of the moving bus. I like the look.

Kiln Firing At OSV

Posted in Daily Image Work on June 20, 2011 by onsouthpond

This is Walter Buchingham who was playing music at the Kiln Firing.

Saturday Beth and I went to the kiln firing at OSV.  This potter gave a talk about the kiln.

There were at least six workers firing the kiln.  Here a few of them.

This is a good shot of a worker loading fire wood into the kiln.  There was an opening for firing on both side of the kiln.

Hot ash had to be removed constantly.

Trying out my new walk around lens.

This was taken in 2009 when “Air At War” came to the Worcester Airport.

Here is a second aircraft.  A B17, my favorite as a kid.
